Thanks to its two embedded Ethernet switch ports, the ioLogik E1200 Ethernet I/O module allows you to create daisy-chain topologies for versatile device cabling. In a distributed Ethernet data acquisition application, control cabinets are often located at remote sites where space is limited. Daisy-chaining the modules or other nearby Ethernet devices not only saves space, but also drastically reduces cabling and deployment time.

Faster Event Processing with Active OPC Technology

Moxa's patented Active OPC Server Lite, a software utility included with the ioLogik E1200, operates as an OPC driver for HMI and SCADA systems. Active OPC Server Lite with event-based push technology enables the ioLogik E1200 to actively communicate with a SCADA system. This event-driven communication provides instant I/O status updates and more accurate data collection than a traditional poll-based architecture.

Save Time and Wiring Costs with Peer-to-Peer Communications

With peer-to-peer networking, users can map a pair of ioLogik E1200 remote Ethernet I/O modules so input values will be directly transferred to output channels, greatly simplifying the wiring process and reducing wiring costs.
